Vaccarella 受到 Crocs 涼鞋的可注射泡沫的啟發，用相同的材料制作了一款沙灘包。事實上，她甚至向 Crocs 提出了這個想法，但遭到拒絕。Vaccarella 沒有放棄，而是決定自己想辦法。這還包括為該概念申請專利。

發明專利的規避可以通過減少部件數量或者從方法/功能/結果上對構成要件進行改變實現。從上述描述中，最簡單的規避方案就是將一對帶子改為一根帶子。但是，在發明人同年同日申請的另一個發明專利US8312816B2中，將手提帶條數有了新的描述——"至少一條帶子，用于將物體耦合到所述至少一個卡扣"，對關于帶子數量規避漏洞進行了補足。這兩個專利的權利要求描述特征非常相似，大家可以通過上述專利進行理解，這邊將不再贅述。

從檢索結果看，品牌方只在美國申請了專利，注意規避相關風險。其他地區想要售賣的話可以留意專利搶注的情況，萬一不幸被投訴下架了鏈接，可以嘗試申訴回來。
